Position Summary A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through excellent customer service. When there is no manager or Operations Supervisor on site, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures that store operations run smoothly, and is responsible for completing all opening and closing procedures.
Essential Functions
Manage store operations, including supervising crew, assigning duties, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Work effectively with store management and crew; communicate information both to and from store management.
Provide outstanding customer service: assist customers, handle inquiries and complaints, promote CVS customer‑service culture, and maintain a positive shopping experience.
Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
Oversee merchandise presentation: price merchandise, stock shelves, execute displays, signs, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise; maintain off‑shelf displays; reset departments following POGs.
Required Qualifications
Deductive reasoning ability, strong analytical and computer skills.
Advanced communication and supervision skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts, overtime as needed, and respond to urgent issues at the store.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a retail supervisor.
Education High School Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred but Not Required).
Anticipated Weekly Hours 20 hours.
Time Type Part‑time.
Pay Range $16.50 – $24.00 per hour.
