Dispatcher – Transdev North America Transdev in El Monte, CA is hiring a Dispatcher. The role oversees road service through communication with operators and provides customer support to clients. We are seeking customer‑service oriented professionals dedicated to safety.

Position Type : Non‑CBA

Compensation : Minimum $20.16 per hour ($41,932.80 annually) – Maximum $21.22 per hour ($44,137.60 annually)

Benefits :

Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks

Sick days: 5 days

Holidays: 12 days (8 standard, 4 floating)

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee road service assigned carriers by tracking trip performance measures, route start times, incidents, etc.

Provide customer support by responding to questions and concerns regarding customer trips including no‑shows, cancellations, and missed trips.

Manage emergency situations for vehicle operators, act as liaison between the carrier and emergency services.

Monitor daily service by reviewing route performance and proactively responding to situations that impact customer service.

Other duties as required.

Qualifications :

High School Diploma or GED; Technical Degree preferred.

3‑5 years’ experience dispatching.

Excellent verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills.

Problem‑solving and analytical skills.

Must be available to work on weekends; open availability preferred.

Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements :

Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.

Employee generally spends long periods sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.

Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
