90-day temp-to-hire What You\'ll Do
Lead daily activities of the material handling team, overseeing inbound, outbound, and internal material movement Assign tasks and guide team members on proper material flow, handling procedures, and safety protocols Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials safely and efficiently Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading materials Monitor inventory levels, support cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies Maintain accurate documentation such as material logs, inventory records, and shipping reports Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy or damage and escalate issues when needed Partner with Purchasing, Production, and Inventory teams to ensure materials align with production schedules Train and mentor team members on GMP standards, warehouse safety, and operational best practices Identify opportunities to improve workflow, reduce waste, and support lean initiatives Ensure compliance with OSHA, cGMP, and internal safety and quality standards Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment Assist with special projects such as equipment moves, facility reconfigurations, or seasonal inventory changes What You Bring
3-5 years of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or shipping and receiving Prior experience leading or mentoring team members Strong understanding of inventory control, material flow, and warehouse safety Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with GMP-regulated environments preferred Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to lift required materials as part of daily operations Dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working cross-functionally Benefits & Perks
