Technical Team Lead at TriCom Technical Services Seeking an

onsite Level 2 IT Support Technician

for a

short-term, 7-week contract

supporting a busy campus environment. This is a

hands‑on, in‑person support role , focused on escalations, deskside support, and service desk stability.

Start:

Immediate

Responsibilities

Provide Level 2 technical support to end users

Resolve escalated Level 1 service desk tickets within SLA

Troubleshoot hardware, software, and application issues (Windows & macOS)

Support laptops, printers, peripherals, and classroom technology

Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system

Mentor and support Level 1 technicians or student workers

Deliver walk‑up and deskside support across campus

Requirements

~5 years of IT support experience (flexible for strong candidates)

Strong troubleshooting skills across desktop, OS, and applications

Experience working from a ticketing system

Able to work

fully onsite , 40 hours per week

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

Preferred

ServiceNow experience

ITIL or CompTIA A+ certification

Short-term assignment — 7 weeks

Onsite only (Minneapolis, MN)
