Flynn Panera, a leading franchisee of Panera Bread, is seeking a Catering Lead to drive sales, deliver exceptional service, and contribute to our expanding catering business.
Location Davis, CA
Role Overview As a Catering Lead, you will be a key contact for customers, responsible for processing orders, managing teams, and cultivating repeat business across the community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Process, prepare and deliver orders to clients.
Organize a team of employees for large catering events as needed.
Provide excellent customer service and follow up on requests.
Maintain existing accounts to ensure repeat sales.
Collaborate with café teams and the Regional Catering Sales Manager to pursue new business.
Develop targeted plans to grow catering sales through cold calling, presentations, and strong closing techniques.
Use Outlook Calendar and other tools for organization and follow‑up.
Effectively communicate via email and other electronic means.
Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent.
Excellent organization, customer service, and time‑management skills.
Positive, enthusiastic attitude with energy.
Ability to work well under pressure and with diverse teams.
Proven track record of success in a similar role.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass reference checks.
Physical Standards
Must be able to stand and move for up to 10 hours.
Must safely lift up to 50 pounds.
Must read and write to facilitate communication.
Maintain finger and hand dexterity for handling small tools.
Compensation and Benefits Catering Lead Compensation: Minimum wage up to $20 per hour plus tips. Competitive hourly rate, flexible schedules, meal discounts, medical/dental/vision coverage, paid sick leave.
