Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and control circuits.
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on industrial electrical equipment.
Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical wiring, conduit, and control panels.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
Calibrate and test electrical instruments and control devices, including PLCs.
Adhere strictly to all electrical codes (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E) and safety regulations.
Respond to emergency breakdowns and restore electrical services promptly.
Recommended Qualifications
Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
Proven experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial electrical control systems (PLCs, HMIs, VFDs).
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical codes (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E) and safety protocols, including LOTO.
Ability to read, interpret, and modify electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
Experience with preventative maintenance programs and calibration of electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with HMI/SCADA programming and development.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and calibrating industrial instrumentation.
Robotics troubleshooting and maintenance experience.
Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as SAP PM or Maximo.
