Salary Range:
$40,000 - $70,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) on metal components according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols.
Inspect finished welds for quality, integrity, and adherence to standards.
Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and machinery.
Prepare metal surfaces by grinding, cutting, and cleaning prior to welding.
Adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and parts according to design.
Recommended Qualifications
Proficiency in common welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and schematics
Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols and procedures
Proven experience welding in a manufacturing or production environment
Ability to inspect finished welds for quality and identify defects
Relevant welding certifications (e.g., AWS D1.1) preferred
Bonus Qualifications
Advanced or multiple AWS welding certifications
Experience welding specialized alloys (e.g., stainless steel, aluminum) or exotic metals
Proficiency in metal fabrication (cutting, fitting, grinding, blueprint reading)
Experience with robotic welding systems or automated welding processes
