Rooted Broth is a CPG startup bringing complete‑protein bone broth in a tea bag to people on the go. We recently raised VC funding and are in build mode—more stores, better operations, stronger brand.

We’re looking for a

Brand & Operations Associate

to work closely with our founder and support the business across operations, co‑packing, fulfillment, and day‑to‑day brand marketing needs. You’ll also collaborate with our external marketing team, so a basic understanding or interest in marketing is helpful, but the most important thing is that you’re hungry to learn, proactive, and able to get things done.

If you’re scrappy, tech‑savvy, and excited to help build a brand from the ground up, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do: Operations & Production

Coordinate with co‑packers and suppliers on production runs, delivery timelines, and basic logistics (training provided).

Help track inventory across DTC, wholesale, and events (what we have, what’s low, what needs to be ordered).

Support quality control: checking labels, packaging, and product before it goes out.

Assist with sourcing packaging and ingredients and keeping supplier details organized.

Help pack and ship DTC and wholesale orders (warehouse days included).

Prepare product for pop‑ups, demos, and events;

occasionally work weekends

when supporting events.

Send out samples, influencer kits, and partnership shipments.

Ensure every customer‑facing touchpoint feels thoughtful and on‑brand.

Brand & Marketing Support

Coordinate with our marketing team via our VC partner, ensuring they have product info, photos, assets, and updates.

Organize content shoots, sampling days, and collaborations (logistics, product prep, timing).

Keep brand assets, product details, and key info organized in Google Drive, Notion, and project tools.

Occasionally support with light marketing tasks like proofreading copy, pulling simple metrics, or helping with social/email assets.

Who You Are:

1+ year of experience in marketing, operations, admin, CPG, or a related role

OR

strong internships/hands‑on experience.

Curious about CPG, startups, and how brands are built.

Tech‑savvy and comfortable learning new tools (Shopify & ClickUp tools are a plus).

A self‑starter who takes initiative.

Personable and communicative—comfortable emailing vendors, speaking with co‑packers, and chatting with customers at events.

Organized and detail‑oriented; you enjoy systems, checklists, and keeping things on track.

Comfortable in a fast‑moving, sometimes messy startup environment.

Able to occasionally lift boxes and help with physical product/event setups.

Nice to Haves:

Some marketing background (social, content, email, brand, agency, or CPG).

Previous experience in food & beverage, wellness, or CPG.

Location:

New York, NY – Hybrid (in‑office + warehouse + remote)

Compensation:

$55,000 – $65,000 per year (depending on experience)
