Job Title: Operations Manager
About The Role A luxury fine‑jewelry brand rooted in mindfulness, natural stones, and intentional craftsmanship is looking for an operations manager. As the brand expands across wholesale, DTC, and custom channels, we are seeking an Operations Manager to strengthen and optimize our production and operational foundation.
This is a builder role, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic creative environment and wants to grow into a senior leadership position as the company scales.
Key Responsibilities End-to-End Production Ownership
Full accountability for production from materials to finished goods.
Manage daily production workflows across DTC, wholesale, restocks, and special projects.
Maintain production calendars, timelines, capacity plans, and WIP tracking.
Ensure flawless quality and accuracy at every stage of production.
Communicate daily with jewelers, studio team, and external partners.
Troubleshoot production challenges quickly, creatively, and independently.
SOP Creation & Process Development
Create and refine SOPs for all operational and production workflows.
Build systems that improve efficiency, reduce errors, and support future scaling.
Implement tools, automation, and AI to streamline processes.
Train team members and ensure consistent SOP adherence.
Material Sourcing Support & Vendor Coordination
Work closely with the Founder on sourcing, vendor communication, negotiation, and materials research.
Track materials, lead times, purchase histories, and availability.
Request quotes, follow up on timelines, gather samples, and maintain organized sourcing documentation.
Ensure all sourcing‑related information is accurate and accessible for production and planning.
Material & Inventory Tracking
Maintain meticulous tracking of gemstones, metals, findings, components, finished inventory, and WIP.
Ensure inventory accuracy across both the studio and 3PL with zero discrepancies.
Build systems that connect sourcing intake production finished goods 3PL.
Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile all variances.
Operational Systems, Reliability & Problem Solving
Strengthen workflows to eliminate gaps and improve task reliability.
Maintain pristine documentation, labeling, and operational data accuracy.
Use AI tools and digital platforms to automate and streamline tasks.
Think creatively to solve production, vendor, or inventory challenges.
Anticipate operational needs and identify issues early.
Cross‑Functional Coordination
Partner with Wholesale on PO schedules, inventory allocation, and fulfillment.
Work with DTC on launches, restocks, and product availability.
Manage all 3PL processes including inbound/outbound shipments, restocking, and returns.
Maintain tight alignment between production, warehouse, wholesale, and DTC teams.
Supply Chain & Logistics
Handle and track all inbound shipments of materials and components.
Manage all outbound shipments to the 3PL, wholesale accounts, and project partners.
Maintain detailed shipment logs including tracking numbers, packing lists, and delivery confirmations.
Resolve shipping issues (delays, shortages, damages) quickly and effectively.
Financial Tracking & Reporting
Track material costs, production labor, inventory valuation, and operational spending.
Provide accurate reporting for forecasting and planning.
Identify efficiencies while maintaining premium quality standards.

Proven reliability and follow‑through.
Preferred
