Seasonal Merchandising Service Associate - Weekends Preferred

Key Responsibilities
Provide SMART customer service at all times through the daily execution of Lowe's customer service policies, procedures, and programs.
Build relationships with vendors by providing direction and checking to ensure merchandise resets are completed according to Lowe’s specifications.
Collaborate with the Merchandising Service team and Manager by communicating project priorities, schedule, and project needs.
Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.
Engage with customers when the opportunity arises: understand their needs, assist in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise.
Listen to and respond knowledgeably and promptly to customer and employee questions, guiding them through projects when necessary.
Demonstrate sincere appreciation to customers and communicate information regarding stock, special orders, benefits, application, and warranty.
Move or replace beams and grids, rotate stock, build products, and display products using power equipment (e.g., lifts, order pickers) per reset instructions.
Identify and remove damaged or missing products and signage, deliver to Return to Manufacturer area, and sign off as defective.
Verify buyback items and ensure they are prepped and ready for shipping.
Update wayfinding and product location signage; ensure pricing labels are visible and accurate.
Maintain cross merchandise, side stack products, and gravity feed bins to drive add‑on sales.
Work with store leadership to stage clearance and damaged merchandise for quick sale and ensure proper sorting.
Merchandise to plantogram, price, color block, and place plants as they arrive; fill plant racks onto plant tables per grand‑opening standards.
Keep store clean and safe: remove trash, maintain equipment, replace light bulbs, and address maintenance issues.
Detect shop‑lifting, theft, and other security risks and report to management or Asset Protection.
Ensure compliance with housekeeping and safety standards; conduct daily safety reviews and maintain secure work environment.
Operate store equipment as needed (e.g., phone, paging system, copiers, key cutter, panel saw, paint mixer).
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications
6 months of Lowe’s sales floor experience.
6 months of experience performing product merchandising tasks including reading planograms, setting up and tearing down displays.
3 months of experience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment.
Pay Range: $16.90 - $17.20 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
