JBC Technologies, Inc.
Purpose
The position is responsible for material movements within the Madison facility. This includes receipt of raw materials, delivery of raw materials and supplies to the manufacturing lines, and movement of finished goods into appropriate storage locations. Other duties are assigned by management as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Accurately and thoroughly utilize JBC ERP system to manage material movements throughout the facility.
Unload trucks, receive materials, and distribute to warehouse location.
Pull materials for production associates and deliver to production lines.
Put away finished goods in appropriate racking.
Prepare material for shipping.
Pull finished product, package on pallets, and load truck for local transport.
Perform cycle counts as directed.
Bundle cardboard and recycle pallets as necessary.
Receive and distribute UPS/FEDEX deliveries as necessary.
Operate forklift, pallet jacks, shrink wrap, and label materials.
Duties are subject to change based on business demands.
Qualifications Education and Experience
High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing/shipping environment.
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in manufacturing.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Basic reading, writing, and math skills required.
Basic computer and scanner proficiency required.
Driver’s license and box truck experience preferred (no CDL required).
Ability to lift 60 pounds.
Warehouse experience preferred.
Must be able to pass drug screening and a background check.
Physical Demands
Light to moderate physical effort required on a constant basis.
Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
Required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about the facility for an entire shift.
Employees are subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
Personal Protective Equipment
Protective equipment is not required but available for nuisance dust.
Protective equipment such as gloves is required for specific tasks.
Safety toe or steel toe shoes are required.
Work Schedule
Normal Schedule – 40 hours per week; Monday – Thursday (10‑hour shifts).
Overtime scheduled as needed and may be mandatory on Fridays and Saturdays.
Work Environment
Work performed in a plant/production environment.
Exposure to elements including fiberglass/insulation material, dust, fumes, and noise.
Must be able to work as part of a team or independently with limited supervision.
