Material Handler/Forklift Operator - Wolf Appliance 2nd Shift
The Material Handler position supports warehouse activities to ensure timely support of the manufacturing process in a safe and respectful manner. Specific tasks may vary for different work assignments.
Responsibilities
Operate equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, turret truck, and pallet rider to complete tasks such as loading and unloading trucks, stock racking based on production needs, supplying assembly lines with purchased parts, moving finished goods, unloading steel.
Complete receiving transactions for incoming materials using Inventory Management Software.
Place and pull materials and supplies from proper locations up to 20 feet in height.
Complete assembly requests for materials.
Complete service and product visibility requests.
Complete transactions for all materials with the RF scanner to ensure inventory accuracy.
Work with the team to ensure inventory accuracy.
Inspect equipment to ensure safe working condition.
Train employees on procedures and techniques.
Housekeeping and workstation organization tasks.
Other duties as assigned.
This position requires a pre‑employment drug/alcohol test and background check, which will be administered after a conditional job offer is extended. A negative drug/alcohol test result is required for employment. Refusal to take the test or a positive result may disqualify a candidate from further consideration. All drug testing will be conducted in accordance with federal and state laws.
