Summary Of Position
The General Manager is accountable for the management and operations of the restaurant, ensuring that Team Members are hospitality focused and performing their duties to meet expectations in all areas of their job description. The General Manager reports to the District Manager and supervises Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Members. The General Manager operates the restaurant in alignment with the business plan for the restaurant and upholds Capstone Restaurant Group values: People, Hospitality, and Integrity.
Responsibilities
Recruit and hire staff, and maintain a bench for future growth.
Ensure all marketing plans are executed, including proper installation of POP and menu board elements.
Ensure restaurant is staffed properly and Team Members are trained through effective training programs.
Open and operate the restaurant during Business Hours as defined by leadership.
Provide leadership by creating enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and commitment to company objectives.
Maintain appropriate inventory levels and keep equipment in excellent condition through approved vendors.
Maintain a high level of proficiency in all phases of restaurant operations and technology.
Supervise according to established performance and operating policies in the operations standards manual.
Develop, motivate, and lead Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Members to perform at their best.
Review preliminary P/Ls and coordinate with the District Manager for questions.
Adhere to HR, sanitation, safety, and security policies to provide a safe, compliant environment.
Qualifications
3-5 years of management experience in a quick service/fast food dining concept.
Financial/analytical aptitude including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and P&L management.
Competencies
Valid driver’s license.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.
Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the restaurant.
Ability to make decisions under pressure and delegate tasks effectively.
Strong conflict resolution skills and high sense of urgency.
Self-motivated with excellent organizational, planning and time management skills.
Physical Requirements
Stand for long periods of time.
Work around high temperatures and in close quarters.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Work with various cleaning products and maintain pace under pressure.
Pay Range & Benefits
USD $45,000.00 - USD $55,000.00 /Yr.
