Description The Data Center Technician I provides hands‑on support for data center hardware and infrastructure, focusing on troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and supporting daily operations in a mission‑critical environment.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and resolve data center hardware issues
Install, replace, and maintain servers and related equipment
Document procedures and technical issues
Support basic system administration tasks, including remote support
Execute small tasks independently and assist with larger projects
Serve as an initial escalation point for junior technicians
Follow detailed processes while working independently or with a team
Qualifications
Basic to intermediate knowledge of data center or IT hardware
Experience troubleshooting servers, racks, or network equipment
CompTIA A+ certification (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and follow direction
