Midland Garage Door has been in business for over 45 years. We are looking for Warehouse Associates to join our team.
Summary The primary function of this position is to produce high‑quality garage door panels per customer order. Depending on the area, the essential functions of the job include packing hardware boxes, loading and unloading trailers, cutting/installing windows, installing insulation, fabricating springs, or assembling different track configurations. Cross‑training between departments will also be expected in time.
Essential Duties
Operate hand/power tools.
Knowledge of all models of doors.
Understand Section Height Charts.
Safely lift and carry completed sections.
Manually load and unload trailers.
Move completed orders to the correct locations.
Marginal Duties
Assist in Production and Shipping areas as requested.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.
Competencies Required
Maintains a high level of quality to eliminate mistakes.

Always remain safety conscious.
High level of attention to detail and organization.
Excellent time management skills.
Mechanical aptitude.
Ability to read a tape measure.
Skilled hand/eye coordination.
Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
Ability to read and interpret job specs.
Ability to perform basic math skills.
Sound judgment, decision making and problem‑solving skills in all situations.
Ability to bend, crouch, twist and stand on his/her feet all shift (10 hrs).
Ability to work well with others.
Positive attitude.
Self‑motivated.
Honest/Trustworthy.
Ability to understand and take direction well.
Ability to effectively communicate in English—both orally and written—to ensure a clear understanding of work instructions and safety protocols.
Have prompt and reliable attendance.
