Representative, Casino Credit (Resorts World Las Vegas)
The Representative, Casino Credit is the key component to allowing guests to utilize their credit lines as the Representative manages all credit applications. The ideal candidate creates a work environment that supports our core values, promotes integrity, teamwork, performance, recognition, and mutual respect. All responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with all laws and regulations, as well as Resorts World Las Vegas policies, practices, and procedures.
Primary Job Duties
Process credit applications for casino players; accept applications via phone, fax, email, or mail and process within established company guidelines.
Answer phone calls directed to the Casino Credit department, potentially multiple lines at once.
Coordinate, gather and enter data from credit applications into the computerized system.
Verify and process banking information from various banking institutions.
Maintain customer credit files with updated information as prompted by computerized system.
Verify and update players’ information and history in both the gaming and player systems.
Assist credit operations in the gathering of financial data/consumer reports in the consideration of casino credit to help minimize financial losses to the company.
Communicate with Central Credit and other external partners regarding credit applications.
Review Central Credit daily report for affected in-house accounts.
Ensure compliance with Title 31 and AML/SARC policies and procedures.
Assist Casino Marketing, Executives and other external requests as needed.
Obtain and maintain position‑specific licensing.
Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Working knowledge of gaming regulations.
Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to effectively communicate in English.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications (example Word, Excel).
Polished appearance and demeanor.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.
Preferred
Working knowledge of Title 31 and AML/SARC protocol.
Working knowledge of a currency counter.
Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
Minimum Education and Experience
At least 21 years of age.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of six months of Casino Credit experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
Ability to obtain the following:
Nevada Gaming Registration
Physical Demands
Work is typically performed in an office environment.
Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.
Prolonged sitting/standing.
Bending and reaching.
Transporting, pushing, pulling, lifting, and maneuvering items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Eye/hand coordination.
Ability to comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (SDS) and other instructions.
