Patient Service Specialist - Medical Front Office Frisco, TX (Day Neuro Hub) Hours: vary between Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Employment type: Full Time Compensation: Starting salary $18 - $25 per hour, based on experience This is an entry-level position. Responsibilities
Provide outstanding customer service to patients and staff in a fast-paced environment. Check in and check out patients, verify insurance, schedule appointments, generate and review reports, fax and scan documents, and perform other office duties as needed. Register patient information, ensuring all forms are complete with signatures and accurately documented in the electronic medical record. Verify patient insurance and obtain required authorizations before visits; explain benefits, financial responsibilities, billing, and outpatient policies. Collect patient responsibility at each visit and scan/maintain medical documents. Reconcile and post charges daily and generate other reports to support clean claim processing. Respond to requests for information from patients, other departments, and physicians. Maintain office, order supplies, and manage mail. Willingness to adjust schedule to center needs; travel to non-home location centers or other sites for coverage when necessary. Attend all mandatory meetings and in-service education programs. HS diploma or GED required. Qualifications & Preferred Experience
HS diploma or GED required. Customer service experience preferred. Knowledge of insurance verification preferred. Healthcare, medical, or dental office administration experience preferred. Benefits
