Location: Mays Landing and Atlantic City (part‑time, not exceeding 26 hours per week, Monday – Friday 10:00 am – 2:30 pm)
This position may require flexible scheduling, which may include evenings, weekends, and duties at any Atlantic Cape campus, particularly during registration and other peak periods.
Responsibilities
Reports to the Assistant Bursar
Performs cashier functions
Analyzes student accounts and departmental reports
Assists with billing inquiries
Assists with student billing and other mailings
Performs duties in accordance with established procedures and controls
Maintains files or correspondence, forms, reports and other materials
Enters postings to the appropriate records using the ERP system
Processes bookstore accounts when needed
Views Self‑Service / Financial Aid Checklist and assists with missing documents
Refs students to institutional resources
Assists with outreach efforts
Related duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED
Cashiering experience preferred
Knowledge of office and bookkeeping procedures (minimum 1‑year experience)
Computer literacy, including spreadsheets
Ability to work independently
Strong analytical skills
Strong customer service skills (minimum 1‑year experience)
Bilingual preferred
