QA/QC Supervisor

We are seeking a supervisor to oversee all inspection related activities for the John Zink, Tulsa Oklahoma site. This person will lead a team of qualified inspectors and administrators to ensure all required inspections and project-related quality documentation are completed in an efficient and effective manner. They will be responsible for developing the team, time management for inspections, and managing inspection resources.
What You Will Do
Lead and develop Quality Inspectors and Technicians, ensuring consistent application of inspection methods, standards, and training.
Set daily inspection priorities aligned with production schedules, risk, and customer requirements.
Ensure compliance with inspection plans, control plans, ITPs, and ISO, customer, and regulatory requirements.
Review inspection results and NCRs, serving as the escalation point for quality issues impacting production or shipment.
Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions; analyze quality metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Maintain and improve inspection processes, standard work, and measurement systems while promoting a culture of defect prevention and accountability.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Previous experience supervising employees within a manufacturing, production, industrial, or military environment.
Working knowledge of inspection methods, drawings, specifications.
Experience with NCRs, corrective actions, and root cause analysis.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications. Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
What Will Put You Ahead
Experience in engineered-to-order, fabrication, machining, welding, or assembly environments.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
Experience implementing control plans, ITPs, and process audits.
Proficiency with ERP, QMS, or quality data systems.
