Job Summary
Under general supervision, provide administrative and programmatic support to the undergraduate program and advisors. Primarily responsible for course scheduling, course enrollment management, evaluations, oversight of grade submission, and coordinating DESII instructional reporting. Manage collection of course materials, service fee waivers, classroom logistics, office administration, outreach, and events.

Qualifications
Experience with course scheduling, enrollment management, grade submission, and classroom logistics.
Experience with event planning logistics, room reservations, rentals, and catering.
Experience identifying students with academic difficulty, determining appropriate advising, and acting as a liaison between students, staff, and faculty in a degree-oriented program.
Experience developing informational materials, creating reports, and answering correspondence with attention to grammar, proofreading, and spelling. Proficient in software for writing, editing, merging, and formatting letters, mailing labels, and reports; for data analysis and emailing.
Working knowledge of academic courses/programs/curriculum, major and college requirements, petitions, and certifications in a university setting.
Analytical and problem‑solving skills to evaluate and interpret complex policies and procedures; recommend solutions; and develop new procedures to meet requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of policies, procedures, and applicable laws regarding confidential student records.
Knowledge of degree requirements to assist students with academic planning and support faculty in curriculum design and course scheduling.
Knowledge of college resources, policies, and procedures to interpret complex policies.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills to manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain professional relationships with faculty, staff, students, parents, and industry.

Department Overview
The Phoenix Cluster provides administrative support for instructional and research activities in the Departments of Plant Pathology and Entomology and Nematology within the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. The cluster supports approximately 45 PIs, 24 administrative staff, and over 500 employees in the departments.
Programmatic and scheduling support is provided for majors and programs including Animal Biology, Entomology, Global Disease Biology, the Science and Society Program (including the Career Discovery Group), and the Research Scholars Program in Insect Biology.
