Marketing/Communications Coordinator
Local to Austin, TX, onsite job.
Role requires an IT background to ensure technical alignment and compliance. Develops strategic campaigns that drive engagement, elevate brand presence, and support key organizational initiatives. Leads social media efforts to promote Division strategy, work efforts and accomplishments.
Key Responsibilities
Build out, implement, and manage a comprehensive social media strategy.
Develop and deliver creative assets (posts, graphics, videos) that align with organizational objectives.
Monitor engagement trends and adjust strategies to maximize impact.
Plan and execute targeted communication campaigns around major implementations, initiatives, and organizational changes.
Ensure messaging consistency across all platforms and mediums.
Maintain and reinforce brand identity through all communications.
Review newsletters, press releases, and other materials for consistent messaging and branding.
Identify photo and media opportunities to enhance visibility.
Create, implement, and evaluate communication strategies aligned with the organization’s strategic plan.
Set measurable goals and monitor effectiveness using analytics and market research.
Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Understand and apply EIR Accessibility requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure resources and processes are in place to meet accessibility standards.
Minimum Years of Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
8+ years as a Marketing Communications Coordinator.
3+ years with external documents such as newsletters or equivalent writing and publishing design skills; public relations, marketing, targeted marketing, especially social media, promotional marketing, lead nurturing, marketing automation tools, and web analytics.
Excellent understanding of email marketing concepts and metrics such as Sender Score, deliverability, and sender reputation.
Minimum 2 years experience in email marketing and marketing automation technology.
Highly analytical and able to derive meaning from data through A/B testing and email and landing page optimization.
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office applications; Adobe Creative Suite experience preferred. Knowledge of Associated Press Style.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Change Management or related field.
Marketing and/or corporate communications experience.
