Summary of Job Duties The Telecommunications Specialist is responsible for performing emergency and non-emergency dispatch and/or communication services for the University of Arkansas Police Department. Job duties include but are not limited to answering 911 calls, radio communications, answering multiline phones, data entry, and assisting the community with law enforcement needs. The University of Arkansas Police Department operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The applicant must successfully pass departmental background/security clearance investigation.

Formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
Must be at least 18 years of age
