We are currently seeking a

Surety Territory Manager

who will be responsible for the profitable growth of our surety lines of business including production, underwriting, sales and service. To develop and ensure positive agency relationships, the ideal candidate will work hybrid from our Midwest office (or remote from IN, IL, or MO) with travel throughout the region and will manage territory development in the mid-west region. As such, a valid driver's license and safe driving record are required. The Surety Territory Manager is responsible for the contract surety line of business (commercial surety experience would be a plus), production and agency management.

The salary range for this position is $114,640-$176,545 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; (NOTE -Relevant, progressively responsible work experience may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required education)

Minimum of eight years of relevant surety experience

Advanced local knowledge of environment; including knowledge of surety agents and competitors, desirable and undesirable bond forms and bond form language

Ability to analyze financial information, credit reports, contracts, and underlying bond obligations

Advanced knowledge of surety automation systems and ability to train end users

Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and organizational skills

Ability to analyze, define and solve problems; the use of good judgment and decision-making

Ability to determine customer needs, provide solutions and price business appropriately

Valid Drivers' License
