School Behavior Specialist in Soddy Daisy, TN

Job Description Job Description Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Behavior Specialist with BCBA certification is needed to support K-12 students in a school setting within the Chattanooga area. This opportunity involves working onsite with a caseload of 10-12 students, primarily focusing on behavior interventions and supporting positive outcomes. The position runs from early January through late May, with potential for flexible scheduling within typical school hours. Key Responsibilities: Provide behavioral assessments and intervention plans for students K-12 Supervise and collaborate with 1-2 Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) Deliver direct support and data collection aligned with individualized education plans Participate in required training, including a 4-day TCIS training paid for by the district Work onsite full-time, with hours ranging approximately from 7:15 AM to 4:15 PM Qualifications: Active BCBA licensure and national certification required Experience working with school-aged children preferred Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload effectively Excellent communication and collaboration skills Commitment to working onsite full-time; no hybrid or remote options available Location: Chattanooga area, Tennessee This contract position spans the 2025-2026 school year calendar and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student behavior and success in a supportive education environment.
