This full-time Behavior Specialist role offers a valuable opportunity to support K-12 students within a dynamic school environment in Soddy Daisy, TN. Key Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of 10-12 students, delivering tailored behavior assessments and interventions Supervise 1-2 Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to ensure effective therapy implementation Collaborate with school staff to develop and modify behavior support plans aligned with student needs Complete the required 4-day TCIS training funded by the district to enhance crisis intervention skills Maintain active BCBA licensure and national certification standards throughout the contract term Qualifications and Experience: Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) licensure and national certification Experience working in school settings providing behavior support to K-12 students Ability to supervise and mentor RBTs effectively Strong communication skills and proficiency in data collection and analysis Previous experience with crisis intervention training is highly desirable Location and Schedule: Position based on-site in Soddy Daisy, TN within a K-12 school Full-time hours ranging between 35 to 37.5 hours weekly, typically scheduled from 7:15 AM to 4:15 PM with potential flexibility Contract duration: January 5 to May 21 This role not only provides a meaningful platform to impact student growth positively but also offers professional development with the district-paid TCIS training.
