Salary: $141,800.00 - $236,400.00

Meet The Team
The Dexcom Electrical Engineering team is responsible for the electronics development of research platforms, wearable transmitters, handheld receivers, and test tools. As a Staff Hardware Engineer, you will design, model, simulate, and test electronics throughout the entire product lifecycle—from concept to end of life.
Responsibilities
- Recognized by leadership and peers as a technical expert in your field.
- Responsible for all aspects of electronics design, modeling/simulation, and test.
- Analyze data and specifications to determine feasibility of product proposals.
- Address ambiguity, changing priorities, and complex problems efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure designs achieve the highest quality at the lowest cost and cycle time.
- Implement and contribute to cross‑functional design reviews to maximize quality.
- Embrace a culture of low‑cost design, innovation, and efficient design methods.
- Implement processes and tools to maximize product quality and minimize cycle times.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver projects on agreed milestones and timelines.
- Mentor and motivate junior engineers in an inclusive environment.
Qualifications
- Extensive wireless (NFC, BLE, Wi‑Fi) electronics design and test experience.
- Experience designing and executing test methods with test automation tools (C++, Python).
- Proficiency using RF test equipment; experience with ANSYS, Altium, Cadence/OrCAD tools is a plus.
- Proven track record of executing in a deadline‑driven, fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with transparency, honesty, equity, and inclusion.
- Ability to collaborate, encourage open dialogue, and listen to diverse perspectives.
- Consistently achieve outcomes that move the organization forward.
- Demonstrated low‑cost design thinking and innovation.
- Clarity in conveying technical information to diverse audiences in design reviews.
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of relevant technologies and standards.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (minimum 8–12 years experience) or equivalent Master’s/PhD with reduced experience requirements.
