A nursing opportunity is available for experienced RNs skilled in Stepdown care, providing critical support to patients recovering from surgery, medical conditions, and neurological events. This contract role is based in Jefferson City, MO, offering a dynamic work setting that demands clinical expertise and adaptability. Key Responsibilities: Manage patient care with a focus on surgical, medical, and neuro patients. Administer medications, including vasoactive drip titration such as neosynephrine, amiodarone, and cardizem. Operate common medical equipment: bladder scanners, IV and PCA pumps, SCDs, BiPAP, CPAP, Optiflow, Vapotherm, and Airvo devices. Perform line management tasks including IV insertion, PICC/central line management, vascular access, dialysis fistula care, and arterial line management. Provide airway support involving CPAP/BiPAP and tracheostomy care. Support orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and oncology needs like epidural/PCA pumps, feeding tubes, and wound vac management. Float across units as required. Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio near 1:3. Preferred qualifications include cardiac skills such as obtaining 12 Lead EKGs, sheath removal, and

cardioversion/defibrillation,
