A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide services within a K-12 school setting in Blacksburg, VA. This role involves working with a diverse caseload spanning kindergarten through 12th grade, supporting students with speech and language needs across multiple grade levels. The position offers an engaging opportunity to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to enhance students communication skills and academic success. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for K-12 students. Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs. Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to support speech and language development. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to promote effective communication strategies. Maintain accurate documentation and reports of student progress. Participate in meetings and professional development as required. Qualifications: Valid SLP certification (SLP-CCC) preferred. Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) required. Experience working in a school setting with K-12 students. Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment tools, and intervention methods. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple caseloads effectively.
