Summary To remove finished product from the machines, inspect product to ensure quality specifications have been met and that all packaging requirements have been done according to production work order.
Responsibilities
Perform instructions outlined in the Production Manuals for Production Assistants
Operate pallet jacks and fork trucks
Assist operators as needed to minimize downtime during cleanups and maintenance
Weigh and package rolls according to specifications and instructions provided on work order paperwork

Perform housekeeping duties on and around the line
Maintain neat and clear aisles for product transfer and safety

Requirements
Must know how to read and use a tape measure and weigh scale
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; over 50 lbs requires a team lift or mechanical aid such as a roll lift or forklift
Must be able to stand for 12 hours
Must be able to work rotating 12‑hour shift including holidays and weekends
Must be able to bend, twist, and rotate body at all times
Able to work in a fast paced environment
Physical Requirements
The employee is required to exert 50 pounds of force occasionally and up to 35 pounds frequently; over 50 lbs requires a team lift or mechanical aid such as a roll lift or forklift
Must stand for 12 hours
Must work rotating 12‑hour shift including holidays and weekends
Must bend, twist, and rotate body at all times
Reaching with hands and arms for as much as 100% of workday
Talking to communicate with others
Hearing to communicate with others and respond to manufacturing and PIT equipment sounds
