Job Description
Responsible for enhancing the physical appearance of the buildings on campus by providing a sanitary environment and preventing the transmission of disease carrying microorganisms.
Job Duties
Empty trash cans and dispose of garbage.
Empty recycling cans/cardboard and place in designated pick up area.
Clean and disinfect sinks and bathrooms and restock paper products. Vacuum carpets.
Vacuum carpets: Hallways, Ballrooms, Meeting Rooms, and Common Areas.
Clean and care for hard floors. Buff and polish vinyl floors as needed.
Dust surfaces in common areas, ballrooms, meeting rooms, stairwells, and hallways.
Clean lobbies, common areas, study rooms, laundries, offices, furniture, chalk and writing boards, and light fixtures.
Clean Ballroom kitchens and stock with soap and paper products.
Maintain supplies, keys, equipment, and custodial closet.
Operate all custodial equipment: floor scrubbers, carpets extractors, vacuums
Extract carpeting: Ballrooms, Meeting Rooms, Study Lounges, Hallways, Offices, and common areas
Clean and maintain all custodial equipment after each use and report needed repairs to supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned.
