Linux Administrator - Eclipse/Universe ERP (Hybrid On-site) - Trenton, NJ

We are seeking a highly motivated Linux Administrator to join our team in a hybrid on-site role and play a critical role in supporting our Eclipse/Universe ERP environment. In this role, you will split your time between working on-site at our Trenton, NJ location and remotely. You will be responsible for administering and maintaining our Red Hat servers and ensuring the smooth operation of our ERP system.
Responsibilities
UniVerse Database Administration:
Perform file sizing and maintenance tasks to optimize database performance.
Identify and troubleshoot broken files and indexes within the UniVerse system.
Analyze and resolve UniVerse lock issues to ensure data integrity and system availability.
Set up new user accounts and manage access controls within the UniVerse database.
Manage and maintain Red Hat servers, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Perform system administration tasks including user and group management, package installation, and configuration.
Monitor system logs and proactively identify and troubleshoot potential issues.
Implement and maintain security best practices to safeguard the server environment.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Red Hat technologies and security patches.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Linux Administrator with a strong understanding of Red Hat server administration.
Solid knowledge of UniVerse ERP system administration and configuration.
Experience with database administration principles and best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
