LTS Elementary Special Education Teacher - 12:1:1 Classroom

Geneseo Central School is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Elementary Special Education Teacher - 12:1:1 Classroom Teacher for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year.

Create and maintain a positive and supportive classroom culture that fosters student engagement, collaboration, and learning

Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and education professionals to develop and implement curriculum, annual IEP plans for students and continuously support the needs of students

Provide research-based specialized instruction to address the instructional goals and objectives within each student's individualized education plans

Monitor and assess student progress and make adjustments as needed to support progress towards annualgoals

Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about studentprogress

Participate in professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching practices
