Summer Camp Teacher for STEM / Technology Camps
We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals to work as Lead Instructors in our Summer programs. The summer seasonal position lasts 4–10 weeks, starting in June, and involves working in‑room with kids ages 6–11 or 8–14. Paid training and a minimum requirement of 4 weeks Monday through Friday ensure a supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities
Lead a class of up to 12 kids solo or manage up to 25 kids with an assistant in a classroom setting.
Plan, teach and facilitate STEM and technology lessons such as Minecraft, robotics, 3D modeling, coding, game creation, animation, video editing and digital arts.
Manage and safely transfer equipment between sites as needed for various classes.
Participate in online training available in May prior to the start of summer and maintain teaching standards throughout the program.
Collaborate with camp staff to create a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all participants.
Qualifications
21 years of age or older.
College graduate with a degree in education, digital arts, computer science, information technology or a related field, or a senior college student with student‑teaching experience.
Strong technology skills preferred, such as 3D modeling, coding, game creation, animation, robotics, video editing, digital arts, competitive gaming, and significant knowledge of Minecraft or Roblox.
Experience teaching kids is not required, but the ideal candidate will have some experience with kids in a formal or informal setting (classroom, volunteering, childcare, tutoring, coaching, etc.).
Ability to lead a class of up to 12 kids solo and 25 kids with an assistant in a classroom setting.
Must love working with kids!
Must be authorized to work in the United States. We are unable to offer accommodations or work sponsorship.
Compensation & Benefits
Rate: $19/hr – $24/hr depending on experience, location, and availability.
