This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fine Jewelry Manufacturing & Production Manager, located in Midtown Manhattan. The Production Manager will oversee daily operations of the production team, ensuring efficiency in manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include quality control, managing production schedules, sourcing materials, and collaborating with designers and vendors. The role also involves inventory management, coordinating with various departments to meet production goals, and implementing strategies to streamline production workflows. We are seeking highly skilled and versatile applicants who can meet the demands that this role requires. Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the production team, ensuring process efficiency. Implement quality control procedures and maintain high craftsmanship standards. Manage production schedules, inventory, and material sourcing. Collaborate with designers, vendors, and cross‑functional teams to meet production goals. Qualifications
3-5+ years of experience in high‑end jewelry production, ideally with fine or luxury jewelry. Deep understanding of jewelry materials, techniques, and craftsmanship. Experience in production management, inventory control, and quality assurance. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and priorities effectively. Excellent problem‑solving abilities and capacity to troubleshoot production issues. Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross‑functional teams. Knowledge of production processes, including stone setting, jewelry work, polishing, laser engraving, laser soldering, and quality control. Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Outlook, and production or inventory management software. Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to exceptional quality. Fluency in Spanish highly preferential. Candidate Requirements
Must be located in the vicinity of New York City to be considered. Compensation & Benefits
Salary to be $63,500-75,000 based on qualifications. Benefits (health, sick leave, unlimited PTO, year end bonuses) are included.
