Crisis Mobile Specialist – CPSS Job Summary The Crisis Mobile Specialist (CPSS) responds to crisis calls dispatched by the dedicated crisis dispatch provider. The role triages the immediate crisis situation, recommends the appropriate intervention, and assists the individual in transition to the most suitable level of care when applicable. This position aligns with the policies and procedures of Magellan Healthcare of Idaho and the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.

Skills / Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree preferred.

Minimum 2 years of experience in the behavioral health field.

Minimum six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders.

Current Idaho Driver’s License (valid and in good standing).

Clear 39‑month motor vehicle record.

CPSS certification required.
