Loader Operator – Holden Industries, Inc.
Nosco is looking for a Loader Operator at our Gurnee, IL facility. This role is on a 12‑hour rotating shift schedule.
As an employee‑owner in this position you will effectively catch, inspect, and load lightweight printed sheets of paper on a high‑speed folding machine while operating equipment at established speed rates.
Responsibilities
Operate available equipment to ensure production objectives are met.
Cross‑train on all finishing assets in the Bindery department.
Perform minor preventive maintenance/repairs, report any mechanical defects to Operator, Manager, and Team Lead, and keep machinery in good working condition.
Ensure quality system procedures are followed at all times.
Ensure department meets all needs for customer satisfaction including OTD.
Qualifications
Preferably +2 years of Bindery (literature folder gluer) or other technical skills operating machinery.
Experience with basic quality systems and documentation.
Flexibility to work any shift and overtime. Work in a fast‑paced environment with ability to adapt to change.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds, work at a computer for extended periods, and have manual dexterity for computer work; long periods of concentration; speaking, hearing, and vision are also essentials to performing job functions.
