Inspection Operator
Holden Industries, Inc. (through its subsidiary Nosco) is looking for an Inspection Operator to work the second and third shift at our Pleasant Prairie, WI facility.
As an employee owner in this position, the operator will operate a rewinder/inspection asset to perform the final step of digital label production. The role includes producing printed roll labels to meet on‑time delivery, high quality expectations, and in accordance with all customer specifications in a safe and efficient manner. The operator will also package all products and supplies per customer required documentation.
Responsibilities
Actively monitor production efficiency and quality. Complete all documentation and reporting accurately.
Troubleshoot machine problems as it pertains to equipment and set up. Perform testing as required and understand what corrective actions could be necessary to achieve passing results.
Assist in minimizing the scope of remakes (identifying problems in a timely fashion through attributing).
Perform clean‑up/maintenance tasks in accordance with company SOP.
Perform and sustain a high rate of productivity. Meet expectations for set up time and run speeds as established by the department leads.
Success Factors
Must have good interpersonal skills to be able to freely communicate with all production staff.
Must have good mechanical background.
Must have lift truck operating experience, at least one year.
Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds, work at a computer for extended periods of time, and have manual dexterity for computer work; long periods of concentration; speaking, hearing and vision are also essentials to performing job functions.
