This position follows a 12‑hour rotating shift schedule. The role requires a critical eye for detail, precision, and consistency. You will set up and operate Bindery equipment in accordance with internal and customer specifications while working safely and efficiently in a team environment.
In this role, you will
Operate available equipment to ensure production objectives are met.
Cross‑train to run all finishing assets in the Bindery department.
Perform minor preventive maintenance/repairs, report any mechanical defects to Manager and Team Lead, and keep machinery in good working condition.
Ensure quality system procedures are always followed.
Ensure the department meets all needs for customer satisfaction including on‑time delivery.
Success factors
Preferably 2+ years of Bindery (literature folder gluer) or other technical machinery operation.
Experience with basic quality systems and documentation.
Flexibility to work any shift and overtime. Ability to adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds, work at a computer for extended periods, and have manual dexterity for computer work; long periods of concentration, speaking, hearing, and vision are also essential to performing job functions.
What Is In It For You The typical pay range for this role is
$20.00 - $34.00
per hour.
