Position Cook (Full Time)
Location: St. Peters, Missouri
Starting wage: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Shift schedule: Sunday - Thursday 10 am - 6 pm
Responsibilities
Be a Culinary Craftsman: Prepare all menu items according to established standards and recipes, delivering exceptional quality food in a timely manner.
Maintain health and safety: Ensure health protocols are followed, including proper hygiene, sanitary food preparation, and correct food temperatures.
Be a Culinary Connector: Familiarize yourself with residents and their preferences and needs, and participate in resident orientations.
Qualifications
At least 18 years of age.
Can read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Current Food Handlers Card as required by the Department of Health.
Demonstrated leadership, training, and supervisory skills.
Proficient written and oral communication skills with management, professional, and support staff.
Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop all day.
Can frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working in close contact with extreme temperatures, including cooking surfaces and walk-in freezers.
Ability to work primarily indoors, but also be available to work outside for events.
Criminal clearance required.
