Location: New York, NY (10007)
Suggested Hourly Rate: $85 – $120/hr
Job Summary Performs underwater inspections, marine condition surveys, sampling, nondestructive testing, and documentation of piers, wharves, seawalls, and waterfront structures under the direction of the Project Engineer and Port Authority Project Manager.
Responsibilities
Underwater marine inspections
Structural evaluations
Ultrasonic thickness measurements
Sampling of wood, concrete, and steel
Underwater photography
Dive log documentation
Inspection reports and safety protocols
Required Qualifications
Association of Diving Contractors International (ADCI) Commercial Diver Certification (current and active)
Minimum 3 years continuous experience as a commercial diver within the last 7 years performing the above tasks
TWIC/SWAC/SIDA eligibility
Compensation $120.00 per hour
