Job Description and Duties
Budget Analyst – Associate Governmental Program Analyst.
Salary : $6,031.00 – $7,547.00 per month. New-to-State candidates will be hired at the minimum salary of the classification or the alternate range when applicable.
Telework
up to three days a week in compliance with the Statewide Telework Policy. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment. Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager (SSM I), in the Office of Fiscal Services (OFS), Budget and Planning (B&P) Section, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) is responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining a variety of complex analytical work for the Department of General Services (DGS) $1.5 billion budget and 30 Contracted Fiscal Services (CFS) clients. The AGPA utilizes PeopleSoft, Hyperion, Activity‑Based Management System (ABMS), forecasting, pivot tables, and advanced Excel techniques to support fiscal analysis, budget development, and program evaluation.
