About the Role As the
Outreach Program Specialist , you provide
hands‑on support
for our outreach efforts that help
reduce barriers
for families attending camp. You manage the
gear library ,
assist families
with check‑in and needs, support on‑site outreach logistics, and help
make sure each family feels welcome . This role is active, service‑oriented, and focused on quality support.
You will spend your summer organizing and distributing gear, helping families check in and get settled, tracking what equipment is used, and
helping the outreach and camp teams keep everything running smoothly.

What You Will Do
Manage the gear library
– package, distribute, sanitize, and store equipment.
Track inventory and keep
detailed gear usage and loss records .
Assist outreach families
with check‑in, gear needs, and questions.
Help with transportation logistics and outreach‑related
operational tasks .
Collect required demographic and program data for
grant reporting .
Support camp‑wide programs and help other staff during busy periods.
Your work helps families feel
supported, prepared, and confident
so they can fully enjoy their camp experience.
Who We Are Looking For
21 or older.
Strong
customer service
and
organizational skills .
Able to lift 50+ lbs and comfortable with
physical tasks .
Valid
driver’s license
and safe driving ability.
Works well
independently
and as part of a
team .
Calm
under pressure,
adaptable , and
service‑focused .
Spanish language
translation skills are highly preferred for this role (additional compensation).
