Seasonal Administrative Assistant – Tax Return Processing Murtha & Flischel is a trusted CPA firm specializing in tax preparation and accounting services. As we enter our busiest season, we are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Seasonal Administrative Assistant to support tax return processing and front office operations.

This role is ideal for students or early-career professionals who enjoy structured work, take pride in accuracy, and want hands‑on exposure to how a professional accounting firm operates during peak season.

What You’ll Do:

Review completed tax returns for accuracy and manage client delivery, signatures, and invoicing using established procedures

Maintain accurate, organized physical and digital client files while ensuring confidentiality of sensitive client information

Ensure client information is consistent and up to date across internal systems

Support general front office and administrative tasks as needed

Seasonal Expectations:

Position runs during tax season (January–April)

High workload and time‑sensitive tasks during peak periods

Ability to complete repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail

Overtime opportunities available during peak periods and are communicated in advance

What We’re Looking For:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Comfortable learning new software and office technology quickly

Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment

Prior administrative, data entry, or office experience is a plus
