Proposal Analyst Manager AMMM is seeking a Proposal Management leader to provide strategic direction and day‑to‑day leadership for a team of proposal analysts. This role will orchestrate the collection and integration of inputs from multiple functional areas to develop high‑quality, compliant proposals. The incumbent will partner closely with senior leadership and diverse functional departments to ensure proposals are delivered on schedule, meet all solicitation requirements, and reflect best‑in‑class processes and metrics.

Key Responsibilities

Drive continuous improvement of proposal processes and performance metrics.

Train and mentor a high‑performing, geographically dispersed team of proposal analysts; conduct talent assessments and professional development plans.

Oversee end‑to‑end proposal lifecycle, ensuring strict compliance with FAR regulations and internal policies.

Review, edit and approve proposal content for pricing integrity and compliance.

Identify and mitigate proposal‑related risks.

Partner with functional leaders in support of proposal fact‑finding and negotiations.

Maintain standard operating procedures, track key performance indicators and provide regular status reports to senior leadership.

You are comfortable partnering with senior leaders, managing risk, and navigating complex negotiations while maintaining schedule discipline and quality standards. Known for your strong communication skills and operational rigor, you thrive in fast‑paced environments where precision, leadership, and collaboration are essential to success.

Basic Qualifications

Experience in developing complex proposals (government or commercial).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Understanding of FAR, Cost/Pricing Data and related compliance requirements.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Desired Skills

Prior experience as a senior proposal analyst leading large‑scale proposal efforts.

Demonstrated ability to summarize large volumes of complex data into concise, decision‑enabling narratives.

Hands‑on experience with dedicated estimating/pricing tools.

Experience pricing with multiple contract types (e.g., FFP, Cost‑Type, IDIQ).

Proven track record leading remote or geographically dispersed teams.

Security Clearance This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration. Clearance level: Secret.

Pay Rate Annual base salary ranges vary by location. For major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York: $122,000 – $211,485. For other states (e.g., Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, or Washington D.C.): $106,100 – $187,105. Adjustments may be made based on work location and other factors.
