About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Dickinson, ND. This role is ideal for candidates with strong customer service skills, a solid technical foundation, and the ability to troubleshoot a wide range of desktop, hardware, and software issues in a fast‑paced environment. The technician will provide day‑to‑day support for end users, ensure operational continuity, and participate in on‑call rotations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Provide hands‑on technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and approved applications
Support user account management and access permissions
Perform system imaging, device deployment, and upgrades
Document all support interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system
Collaborate with IT teams to elevate and resolve complex issues
Participate in on‑call rotations and respond to after‑hours incidents as required
Maintain inventory of equipment and ensure accurate tracking
Deliver high‑quality, customer‑focused service at all times
Required Skills & Qualifications Entry‑Level Candidates
Basic understanding of Windows OS, hardware components, and troubleshooting
Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote‑support tools
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to follow standard procedures and elevate when necessary
Experienced‑Level Candidates
2+ years of desktop support or IT helpdesk experience
Strong proficiency with Windows OS, Active Directory, O365, and hardware diagnostics
Experience with imaging, deployments, and network troubleshooting
Ability to work independently and handle complex technical tasks
