Front Desk Agent - Martinique New York on Broadway, Curio Collection by Hilton
The Martinique New York on Broadway is looking for a Front Desk Agent to join our team! Our historic 504‑room hotel is located near iconic New York City attractions and offers 7,400 square feet of event space.
Shift Pattern:
Overnight shift 11 pm – 7 am, full availability required (overnights, weekends, holidays).
Pay Range:
$30.23 – $40.31 / hour.
What will I be doing?
Greet guests and complete registration, input and retrieve information, confirm guest information and room rate, select rooms, code electronic keys, promote marketing programs, provide a welcome packet, and ensure guest knows location of room and/or has a bell person accompany them.
Assist guests with check‑out, ensuring rooms and services are correctly accounted, using the point‑of‑sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, accepting and recording various forms of payment, converting foreign currency, making change, and processing gift certificates and cards.
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of hotel information (room categories, rates, packages, promotions, local area) and answer guest questions.
Use up‑selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities and maximize room occupancy.
Respond to guest inquiries and requests, resolve issues promptly, friendly and efficiently.
Field guest complaints, conduct research, and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction.
Receive, input, retrieve and relay messages to guests.
What are we looking for?
Experience as a front desk agent or similar hotel role in a comparable property.
Full availability for overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
