JR100391**Job Description:**Primary Duties:* Develop and implement supplier quality standards and metrics to ensure compliance with engineering and customer requirements.* Lead supplier audits and qualification processes, collaborating with procurement and engineering teams to approve new suppliers.* Monitor supplier performance through data analysis, identify trends, and drive corrective and preventive actions.* Resolve supplier-related quality issues, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective measures.* Partner with internal teams (Engineering, Production, Procurement) to address quality concerns and support product reliability.* Prepare and present supplier quality reports and KPIs to leadership.* Manage and coach Quality Analysts, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and professional development.* Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluate performance of direct reports.* Performs other duties as assigned.**Education and Experience Requirements:**
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline; 5+ years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or quality systems management, including 2+ years in a leadership role; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.**Preferred:*** ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Supplier Quality Professional (CSQP).* Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.* Experience with ISO 9001, auditing, and statistical process control.**Essential Mental and Physical Functions:*** Strong understanding of quality management systems and supplier quality principles.* Ability to lead audits and assess supplier compliance.* Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI).* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.**Work Environment:*** Office and manufacturing environments with exposure to seasonal temperature changes, dust, and noise.* Occasional travel to supplier facilities.* Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.This role is classified as a Safety Sensitive Position, requiring heightened awareness and adherence to all safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment.**Location:**Longview, TX**Title:**Supervisor, Supplier Quality #J-18808-Ljbffr
