Department of Water Resources (DWR) was established in 1956 by the California State Legislature. We manage California’s water resources, systems, and infrastructure, including the State Water Project, in a responsible sustainable way.

Desirable Qualifications The successful candidate has experience with managing multiple projects and priorities, preparing or administering contracts, and collaborating with others in a team environment, taking direction from several leads. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are critical, as are well developed analytical and problem‑solving skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products, such as Excel, Word and Outlook, is required.
