Position Overview The Department of State Hospitals — Napa has a full time, permanent Analyst I vacancy in the Human Resources (HR) Department. The Analyst I reports to the Supervisor II (Exam and Hiring Manager) and is responsible for analyzing and updating the Hospital Position Report and employee roster on a flow basis to ensure employee information is maintained accurately.

This position maintains a roster of all budgeted and blanket positions and utilizes the Management Information Retrieval System (MIRS), position control spreadsheets, and other resources to analyze data, and prepare clear, concise and comprehensive statistical reports.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and update the Hospital Position Report and employee roster on a flow basis.

Maintain roster of all budgeted and blanket positions.

Use MIRS, position control spreadsheets, and other resources to analyze data.

Prepare clear, concise, comprehensive statistical reports.

Collaborate with Human Resources, managers, and stakeholders to understand needs.

Minimum Requirements

Analyst I level knowledge and experience (see Class Specification).

Minimum salary range: $3,861.00 - $4,839.00A; $4,181.00 - $5,233.00B; $5,014.00 - $6,276.00C.

New to State candidates hired into minimum salary of classification or alternate range.

Background investigation clearance.

Medical clearance.

Facility: Department of State Hospitals - Napa.

Work Location: In Office.

Work Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Work Week: Monday – Friday.
