Join an established all-physician anesthesia group practice seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist for a full-time permanent position in the Indianapolis, Indiana area. The Practice Provide comprehensive perioperative anesthesia care across diverse surgical specialties in well-equipped clinical settings. Work independently alongside experienced colleagues who value clinical excellence, professional autonomy, and team collaboration. Your practice will span multiple venues, including the main operating room, ambulatory surgery center, and endoscopy suite.
Surgical specialties include:
Orthopedics, General Surgery, Colorectal Surgery, Urology, Podiatry, Breast Surgery, and ENT.
The practice excludes high-risk subspecialties obstetrics, cardiovascular surgery, or neurosurgery-allowing for predictable scheduling and reduced liability exposure.
This independent practice position requires no supervision, empowering you to practice at the top of your clinical expertise while benefiting from the support of an established physician group.
Compensation & Call Schedule Position Type:
Full-Time 1099 Contractor (Permanent)
Guaranteed Income:
$575,000 minimum annually
Sign-On Bonus:
$50,000
Call Schedule:
1 in 8 rotation from home with unrestricted additional call bonus opportunities
Benefits:
First-year malpractice insurance fully covered and 6 weeks of vacation, and negotiable CME
Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia care across multiple surgical specialties
Perform regional anesthesia techniques and nerve blocks
Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments and post-operative management
Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams
Maintain current clinical skills and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
MD/DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Anesthesiology
Demonstrated proficiency in regional anesthesia techniques and nerve blocks
An Indiana medical license or the ability to obtain licensure
DEA certification or eligibility
Strong commitment to patient safety and clinical excellence
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
